WASHINGTON, DC – On Thursday, September 24th, the Department of Energy will host the upcoming Businesses Opportunity Session. Speakers will include Under Secretary Kristina Johnson, Steve Spinner of DOE’s Small Business Loan Guarantee Program, and representatives from almost 30 DOE Program and Field offices. Matt Rogers, Senior Advisor for Recovery Act Implementation, will open the program and provide the keynote address.

This month’s Business Opportunity Session will be the first time DOE has broadcasted this event live over the internet and will feature presentations from across the Department, including a panel of representatives to discuss the myriad funding opportunities available at the state level.  Online viewers can visit www.diversity.doe.gov and register to view the live webcast.  Information from this Business Opportunity Session will be available for public access later this month on the Office of Economic Impact and Diversity website.
